StaysAfrica handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
- Search details (destination, dates, guests).
- Booking and contact details when you reserve (name, email; payment handled by our payment provider).
- Basic usage and device data to keep the service secure.
How we use it
- To search rates, process and manage bookings.
- To provide support and send confirmations.
- To meet legal, tax and security obligations.
Sharing
We share only what is needed to complete your booking with our accommodation partners (including LiteAPI / Nuitee Connect), experiences partner Viator, and our payment processor. We do not sell your personal information.
Your POPIA rights
- Access, correct or delete your information.
- Object to certain processing and complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
